The Fireplace Transformation
From the 80’s to MODERN
Sometimes when we start a renovation we don't fully know what to expect until we dive into it. This was the case with this fireplace remodel. We found a brick gem hiding under layers of faux rock, who would have thought? We were able to restore the original brick back to it's glory while blending in the client's style.
This 20' fireplace was stripped of faux rock, repaired and German Schmeared. We added in a shaker hearth with a 1.5" white oak wrap around mantle. Additional brick to match the existing was placed around the hearth to tie the top and bottom together.
These clients were amazing to work with and we appreciate the opportunity to transform this space for them!
