The FARMHOUSE POWDER ROOM
The Story…
This powder room was a standard, builder’s grade, cookie cutter bathroom and lacked character and charm. We felt that this ordinary powder room had the opportunity to become something extraordinary, keeping in mind the overall design theme of the home. And were we ever right!
A powder room is a great place to express creative freedom, especially when the rest of the home is designed fairly neutral.
THE DESIGN ELEMENTS
We used white subway tile with a black grout as our accent wall against the blue walls. A live edge hickory floating vanity with the square vessel sink added an open feel to the small bathroom. Below are a collection of a few of the items that were used in the finishing process.
